Quotation Engineer - HVAC/Mechanics

As a Quotation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing accurate and competitive quotations for HVAC equipment projects. Collaborating closely with the sales and engineering teams, you will analyze project requirements, prepare detailed cost estimations, and ensure that all proposals align with technical specifications and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Quotation & Cost Estimation: Analyze requests for quotations (RFQs) and project specifications to develop detailed and competitive cost estimations for HVAC equipment. Technical Support: Work closely with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements, providing technical expertise to develop optimal solutions. Supplier Coordination: Engage with suppliers and internal procurement departments to obtain competitive pricing for materials and components. Customer Communication: Interact with clients to clarify technical specifications, address inquiries, and adjust quotations based on feedback. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of quotations, pricing strategies, and market trends to support informed business decisions. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all quotations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and technical standards. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical or HVAC equipment, ventilation systems, or air handling units, etc. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air handling units, ventilation, and air filtration solutions (strong asset but not a must) Languages: Fluent in English and French; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
