Job Description

Are you a Rail Civil Engineer looking to work on projects that can change the world, projects that are more complex and innovative than the last?

If so, we are looking for you to join our team in Manchester to work on the preparation of technical outputs to the highest standards in accordance with the AECOM quality management team system.

You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

This role will be based in Manchester and will suit an individual who is self-motivated and looking to advance their career in a dynamic and diverse organisation- career progression opportunities are widely available and fully encouraged.

The ideal candidate would be chartered or Incorporated Engineer Civil Engineer, or working towards their chartership, also we would welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong practice experience who might be thinking of applying for chartership at some point in the future and require help and support in doing so.

As part of the bust Rail Civils Team, we provide opportunities and mentorship for you to gain your professional qualifications. You will work on a variety of exciting projects and will enjoy working in a vibrant team, modern environment and in a high-quality location.

  • Southern Renewals Enterprise

  • Manchester Oxford Road Station Remodelling ES2-4

  • Network Rail CP7

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be working towards their chartership status, and we would welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong practise experience and who might be thinking of applying for chartership at some point in their career.

  • Master’s/ Civil/Structural engineering degree qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Design experience in a range of civil/structural engineering projects

  • Suitable design experience
