Rail Project Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our client in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer and ideally come from the Rail industry or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Be the technical link between all departments including Design, Sales and Installations to manage and deliver multiple design lead projects from cradle to grave

\n

• Liaise with suppliers and the design department to feedback customer requirements and ensure the right components and products are sourced

\n

• Attend client sites across the UK and globally where necessary to undertake site surveys and ensure installations are completed correctly.

\n

• Liaise with clients and customers to ensure projects are delivered correctly, to budget and on time

\n

\n

Key Attributes:

\n

\n
• Rail industry essential but ideally Rolling Stock/ Carriages/ Rail Vehicle background

\n

• 5+ years' experience

\n

• Knowledge of CAD Design to lead design based projects

\n
