Refrigeration engineer – West Midlands

Basic salary £40,000 - £45000/ 40hr working week / Door to door pay / Overtime rates x1.5 / 28 days holiday rising with service / Van & fuel card – discretional use

 

About us: We install, service & repair high quality commercial catering and refrigeration equipment throughout professional kitchens in the Midlands, from bars, bistros to schools and colleges. Due to company growth, we are now seeking specialist engineers to join our specialist team!

 

Contracts: Schools/ colleges/ petrol stations/ retail/ hotels/ pubs etc

Key Responsibilities: 



Service, maintenance, and repair of all commercial refrigeration equipment

Fault Finding on commercial refrigeration equipment

Field based throughout the Midlands - Customer facing position  Essential Qualifications/ experience:



FGAS Cat 1 or NVQ level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning

Full Driver’s Licence

Previous experience on PPM/ service and reactive maintenance on cold rooms/ display cabinets/ cellar cooling/ undercounter fridges/freezers/ bottle coolers/ ice machines Benefits Package:



Basic Salary: £ 45,000

40 hour working week + 30 min lunch (42.5)

Door to door pay at x 1.5

On call rota 1 in 3 with £150 standby payment

Overtime rates paid at 1.5

Bonus Scheme – based on customer feedback – at Christmas

20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays – increasing with service
