TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations. In this new opportunity, we are seeking an experienced leader in Environmental, Health, and Safety to join our team supporting our sites in EMEA and China.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, compliance, and training within a manufacturing environment. Tasks and Responsibilities • Develop and implement EHS policies and programs ensuring compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.• Conduct safety training for employees on compliance, hazardous material handling, and emergency response.• Oversee EHS management system requirements, perform site inspections, and recommend corrective actions.• Investigate incidents, prepare accident reports, and serve as the liaison for external agencies.• Review new products and processes for potential hazards and recommend safety modifications.• Oversee and support the company’s workers' compensation program.• Manage site EHS efforts, audits, and ensure timely submission of EHS reports.• Implement and maintain EMS in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.• Provide leadership and mentoring to site EHS personnel.• Establish and oversee safety programs and committees.• Collaborate with regional EHS Manager on special assignments and share best practices.What your background should look like: • 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.• Demonstrated strong leadership and decision-making abilities.• Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national EHS regulations.• Experience in a multinational matrix organization is a plus.• Excellent communication and analytical skills.• Fluent in verbal and written English.• Willingness to travel 40% for site visits, site audits and general site oversite.
