Regional Intruder Alarm & Security Installation Engineer
Express Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a leading Fire Alarm & Security supplier in Nottingham. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Regional Intruder Alarm & Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Call out rota is every 1 in 3 weeks, although Engineers are rarely called out. Individuals will still be paid a call out bonus for maintaining their availability.
In return will receive a competitive salary up to £38,000, call out bonus, company vehicle, phone, laptop, and continuous training opportunities.
90% of this role covers Nottingham and the surrounding areas, no overnights stays!
Roles & Responsibilities:

Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in Nottingham and surrounding areas
*
Service, maintain and install a wider range of intruder alarm systems, fire alarms and CCTV surveillance systems
*
Consult with customers on site to ensure they receive the ideal solution for their business
*
Perform in depth diagnosis of electrical alarm systems when required
*
Complete all relevant paperwork
*
Adhere to health and safety regulations
*
Respond to emergency callouts as per rota agreement (every 1 in 3 weeks)
Skills & Experience:
*
Formal electrical engineering qualifications desirable but time served experience considered
*
18th edition qualified
*
Demonstrable installation experience of intruder alarm systems highly advantageous
*
Installation and servicing experience with fire alarms and CCTV systems
*
Holder of current DBS certificate or willing to have one done
*
First class customer service skills
*
Full UK driving license essential
