Job Summary:
The Regional Maintenance Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs across multiple PECO locations. Responsibilities include managing all mechanical and facility maintenance needs, and upkeep of PECO-owned assets. This role leads and supports a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and paint technicians, ensuring that all depot equipment is consistently maintained. One of the primary duties of this position is to monitor and actively improve employee morale to maintain an inclusive, positive, and productive work environment. Additionally, this role works with the PECO Automation Team to identify and implement strategies aimed at enhancing overall efficiency to maintaining operational readiness across various locations throughout our network assets.
Essential Duties:
- Overall oversite for the Maintenance program at multiple locations ensuring that the program is reviewed and updated as equipment and business needs change.
- Communicate with Depot Managers for PM scheduling, repair timelines and support Depot Operations.
- Weekly meetings with all technicians to review preventative maintenance schedules as well as maintenance issues.
- Develop and conduct certification training for all mechanics and paint techs.
- Monitor weekly CTQ (Critical to Quality) audits for paint and stencil systems.
- Develop and execute a Quarterly site visit to review maintenance schedules and to ensure adherence as well as look for equipment failure trends.
- On call rotation for system emergencies and trouble shooting.
- Work with Vendors on improvement measures.
- Oversees and is Responsible for Centralized parts ordering, including:
- Parts quotes for all locations, working with third party vendors on pricing
- Oversite of location parts inventories
- Rebuilds
- Cylinders
- Stencil flow jets
Pumps
- Utilizes LEAN tools and understands continuous process improvement
- Other duties as assigned.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree, Technical certification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Skills and Experience Requirements
- Fabrication and repair skills
- Weld, Drill, Cut, Fasten, Etc.
- Machine maintenance/mechanical skills
- Lock Out / Tag Out
- Identify and replace worn parts.
- Identify adjustment points.
- Grease bearings.
- Change oil.
- Flow control adjustment.
- Pressure regulator adjustment.
- Other mechanical adjustments.
- Computer, networking & basic programing skills
- iPhone / Smart phone
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Smart Sheets)
- Ethernet/WiFi adapters, Setting IP, Pinging, Etc.
- Safe internet usage
- PLC programming (Ladder Diagram, Function Block and Structured Text)
- HMI Programming (Ignition)
- Scripting (Python)
- Electrical skills
- Ability to use a multimeter.
- LOTO Lock Out / Tag Out
- Understanding of DC/AC power systems
- Automation troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Device identification
- Sensor troubleshooting
- Motor Starter troubleshooting
- Valve troubleshooting
- Rebuilds (Cylinders, Motors, Pumps, Paint Guns, Etc.)
- Fabrication and repair skills

- Equipment/system-level troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements:
- Employee will need to be able to lift 65lbs
- Exposure to fumes from paint

Work Conditions:
- Work is performed in an indoor fast paced production environment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Frequent travel up to 85%
