Regional Property Project Manager

Stark Building Materials UK are looking for dynamic highly self-motivated and talented Construction Project Managers ideally based in Glasgow, to work within the Property department delivering a diverse range of new and refurbishment projects across its portfolio of approximately 600 branches.



You will be responsible for managing the construction and refurbishment of our new branches, refurbishment projects, special projects and format updates working closely with other internal departments as well as external consultants and suppliers. Whilst the roles will be Regionally based some travel will be required to meet the be and flow of projects across the UK.



The role will require the successful candidate to:



Take ownership of projects to ensure the successful delivery of Construction, refurbishment and fit-out schemes from inception through to completion ranging in value from 100k - £5m+

Have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and develop relationships with internal Stakeholders and the wider external supplier base.

Establish and arrange external resources required to deliver the project to meet the business requirements and ensure work is carried out to meet all Statutory regulations.

Build strong relationships with branch operations teams to ensure timely and cost effective project targets are achieved.

Be able to work collaboratively and in accordance with the Stark Group company values

Have a good understanding of the CDM Regulations and Building Regulations and the duties placed on the Client.

Ensure works are carried out to a high standard and projects are closed out to meet Statutory compliance requirements.Requirements



5yrs experience working in a similar role

Ideally MRICS or CIOB qualified

The role will require travel

Experience working in a Merchant or Retail environment.

Excellent communication skills with both business and external technical teams.

Possess a full driving license.

Ability to work alone on their own initiative, self-managing and prioritising their own workload.What's in it for you?
