Up to £35,000 p/a DOE


CY Partners is recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the expanding team of a long-established company who have specialised in developing & manufacturing coatings products for over 100 years. Based in Greater Manchester, this will be a part time position, taking responsibility for the regulatory affairs of their product range customers based across the UK & EU.

Working alongside an experienced technical team, this position can offer flexible / hybrid working 2 – 3 days per week.


Key responsibilities:


  • Author and supply Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new products.
  • Management of the SDS database.
  • Respond to client SDS requests and queries
  • Update and maintain regulatory compliance of products, ensuring compliance with UK / EU legislation. (CLP / REACh etc.)
  • Provide regulatory support to the technical team in relation to the development of new products.


Requirements:

  • A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry, or relevant field.
  • Proven chemical regulatory experience.
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation – REACh, CLP, GHS.
  • Experience of authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Strong attention to detail


This position will require the full right to work within the UK – Sponsorship is not available for this position.
