CY Partners is recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the expanding team of a long-established company who have specialised in developing & manufacturing coatings products for over 100 years. Based in Greater Manchester, this will be a part time position, taking responsibility for the regulatory affairs of their product range customers based across the UK & EU.
Working alongside an experienced technical team, this position can offer flexible / hybrid working 2 – 3 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Author and supply Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for new products.
- Management of the SDS database.
- Respond to client SDS requests and queries
- Update and maintain regulatory compliance of products, ensuring compliance with UK / EU legislation. (CLP / REACh etc.)
- Provide regulatory support to the technical team in relation to the development of new products.
Requirements:
- A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry, or relevant field.
- Proven chemical regulatory experience.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation – REACh, CLP, GHS.
- Experience of authoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Strong attention to detail
