Unique and exciting new role for a Wordings Reinsurance Specialist in a globally renowned insurance group - Generous package - London based hybrid role.

This large, successful and fast growing Insurance Group is looking to expand and develop their International Reinsurance function and are looking for a smart, mature and technically astute Wordings Specialist to head-up their expanding team.

They are looking for someone with primarily the core foundations in wordings reinsurance experience but is also keen to grow and strengthen their wordings network across the sector. They will be an ambassador and mentor for the team's burgeoning development and growth. Being able to advise a broad church of business lines and jurisdictions and supporting both in-house and client facing roles.

Role Requirements:

• Advise and guidance on contract wordings
• Best practice reviews for existing wordings
• UK and International training and support
• Ensure compliance with slip contract templates
• Build wordings-related networks - internally and externally
• Negotiation support and advise
• Stress-test scenario management

Personal expectations:

• Knowledge of (Re)Insurance, including contract law
• Broad industry knowledge
• Understanding of Treaty Reinsurance
• Manage deadlines and working under pressure
• Strong negotiation and flexible interpersonal skills
• High sense of integrity and moral coding
• High EQ - being able to empathise and work in a open and collegiate way
