Reliability Engineer

The Role Reporting to the  Operations & Maintenance Manager your focus will be on: • Develop O&M and reliability planning and technical data  • Develop training plans and programs for operations and maintenance  • Support the execution of maintenance and reliability activities • Focus on risk management, loss elimination, and lifecycle asset management. • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving • Development and continuous improvement of operation and maintenance plans, SOPs, SWMS • DFMEA, reliability modelling, lifecycle costing, spares provisioning analysis and recommendationDevelop and sustain a Spare Parts Management system Safety Focus Upholding and ensuring compliance to all Environment, Health & Safety management systems and contribute to a strong EHS culture. In consultation with team members, develop and implement suitable Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for safe and consistent outcomes Your Background Strong experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture. Formal qualifications & understanding in Root Cause Analysis. Strong communication, coaching, consultation and negotiation skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders, as well as being able to connect with people at different levels. A hands-on and can-do attitude. Ability to travel to project sites Ideally have worked within the Energy Sector and have a strong understanding of Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
