Role Summary: As a Reliability Manager, you will lead and execute all reliability activities, ensuring timely and safe project completion. You will foster a culture of learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement, working closely with Operations and Global Plant Engineering (GPE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Standards: Develop and promote reliability standards and best practices in collaboration with plant maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
- Lead the Team: Manage and lead the maintenance organization, including hiring, training, and developing a skilled workforce focused on team building and problem-solving.
- Ensure Safety: Follow and enforce all safety policies, ensuring processes and equipment are maintained in a safe working condition.
- Optimize Maintenance: Direct and continuously improve preventative and predictive maintenance practices to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Collaborate: Work with facility leadership to achieve objectives and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
- Be the Expert: Serve as the reliability subject matter expert (SME) for Columbus facilities, providing technical ownership and leadership.
- Manage Budgets: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, fostering cross-functional accountability.
- Execute Efficiently: Ensure timely and thorough work order execution and traceability through CMMS.
- Leverage Resources: Utilize local resources, contractors, and suppliers to resolve complex maintenance challenges.
- Drive Innovation: Support digitization and automation projects for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring, integrating IoT/Industry 4.0 applications.
- Analyze Data: Use operational data and equipment performance history to improve key maintenance metrics.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain excellent communication with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and other departments.
- Stay Current: Independently maintain technical knowledge and stay updated on emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5-10 years in a manufacturing environment, with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Expertise: Strong background in Reliability Engineering.
- Skills: Results-driven with strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills. Proficient in technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
