Unique opportunity to join a well-established Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Company focused on expanding its network of RNG production and distribution facilities across North America. As Senior Operations’ Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the VP of RNG Fueling Operations managing all existing and planned operations across Nopetro’s RNG fueling facilities. We are looking for a dynamic team member with a positive attitude and excellent computer, orgniazational, and interpersonal skills. You will receive some amount of on-the-job training but are expected to be an experienced manager in the energy and/or industrial services’ industry as well as a self-starter, who is used to working on multiple projects concurrently and is equally comfortable working independently and in a team setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the Senior Operations Manager managing all daily aspects of facilities’ operations, including station budgets, asset reporting, supply chain, spare parts inventory, procurement, SOP updating/enhancing, health and safety planning, and RNG station optimization and performance improvement • Design, implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all RNG fueling operations that integrates with NetSuite • Design and implement an enhanced Safety and Health program to govern all RNG fueling operations • Proactively and regularly communicate with operations staff and existing facilities to stay current with operational issues • Collaborate with the accounting department to prepare budgeting/forecasting tools to support financial reporting and variance analysis, as well as automating third party O&M customer invoicing using CMMS and NetSuite • Interacting and negotiating with external parties including customers, suppliers, technology providers, utility providers, engineering firms, permitting agencies, and consultants to represent the Interacting and negotiating with external parties including customers, suppliers, technology providers, utility providers, engineering firms, permitting agencies, and consultants to represent the interests of the Company • Increase sites operational effectiveness, manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered • Manage customer relationships and maintenance agreements • Work with third parties to troubleshoot issues and maintain a 99.99% uptime for all CNG facilities • Assist in hiring operations and support staff or contracts, as required Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree; preference in engineering • 5-8 years relevant working experience in the oil, gas, renewables, wastewater and/or other industrial services’ industry and ability to oversee numerous operating assets • Managed natural gas, petrochemical, LNG, hydrogen, or biogas operations and are familiar with maintaining natural gas equipment such as gas compressors and natural gas clean up equipment. Operational experience for other industries with similar equipment will be considered • Ability to work in a complex project environment with a multitude of stakeholders • Health and safety oriented • Effective communication and organizational skills • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills • Ability to multi-task and stay focused on priorities in a fast-pace environment to meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization to include roles within C-suite, Procurement, Fleet Managers, and Government • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in the business and customer landscape and strong process and performance management skills, the ideal candidates will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a sharp strategic mindset grounded in operations and safety, and excellent written and oral communications and focus • Flexibility to do what needs to be done with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude • Ability to travel to sites on an as needed basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Ability to read, write, listen and communicate adequately to complete job duties and responsibilities. • Must be able to see adequately to effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers to complete job duties and responsibilities. • The job is physical in nature requiring the ability to stand, sit, bend, push, pull, squat, stoop, twist, turn, crawl, climb and work in unusual positions requiring full body mobility for extended periods of time. • Inside conditions: Protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature change. • Extreme heat: Temperatures above 90 degrees for periods of more than one hour. • Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions (proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to heat and / or chemicals). • Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Work is typically performed during regular business hours with occasional travel by automobile to work nights, holidays and weekends.
