Repair Engineer

Airswift are supporting a Leading Aviation Service Provider and is looking for two Repair Engineers to support them in Italy. 





The Repair Engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and preparation of temperature-controlled containers used in Air Cargo Charters. 





This role requires hands-on technical skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, along with a commitment to safety and quality.





Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and release containers; perform routine preventative maintenance and service to ensure optimal operation.




• Repair or replace defective parts, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform testing of containers.




• Safely use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing devices.




• Clean containers (inside and out) and prepare them for outgoing shipments.




• Complete work orders accurately and understand maintenance documentation and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (Diploma scuola secondaria di secondo grado)




• 2+ years of practical, hands-on experience in aviation maintenance, general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration (Certifying Staff experience )

Certifications:

• EASA Part 145 certification or equivalent maintenance qualification or Certified Staff Certification in Aviation Certification
