Research and Development Engineer

Join our team focused on Global New Technologies, where you'll be a key player in improving R&D operations and bringing innovation to U.S. products. Your role involves identifying customer challenges, validating ideas, and contributing to the development of new technologies for warewash products.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and address customer challenges with effective solutions.

• Prioritize and validate ideas based on technical and economic factors.

• Stay updated on new technology and market trends.

• Conduct advanced research and development aligned with market needs and regional standards.

• Evaluate technologies for integration into warewashing equipment.

• Provide creative engineering solutions for warewashing products.

Qualifications:

• Innovative thinker with a results-oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum three years of engineering experience.

• BS in Engineering; MS preferred.

• Proficient in engineering tools, including 3-D CAD (Pro Engineer preferred) and New Product Development processes.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Initial eight weeks of orientation and onboarding in Germany, followed by periodic travel to Europe (two to three times per year).
