Are you an experienced Research and Development Engineer looking for an exciting, new role with a rapidly expanding, award winning manufacturer? Have you got a Research and Development experience in a mechanical, electronic or textile manufacturing setting? We are currently recruiting for a Research and Development Engineer to join a genuine industry leader in Caerphilly. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative, forward thinking manufacturer that can boast multiple awards and 'Investors in People Gold' status.



As Research and Development Engineer you will:



Use your electro, mechanical or textile experience to full advantage

Be involved in managing key projects for a number of high profile clients

Develop and design new products and take an active role in product design change and optimisation in response to customer complaints as well as report product quality issues

Communicate and resolve technical issues

Lead cross-functional development projects, support internal production needs and actively seek new market information and technological developments in order to improve existing products and design new ones

Lead presentations and liaise with senior management on a daily basis

Have a good understanding of IEC60601 family standards, ISO13485, ISO14971 and BSEN62304This is a highly varied, challenging and interesting role with an employer of choice in Caerphilly.
