Research Assistant / Research Associate / Post-doctoral Fellow (Machine Learning and Quantitative Investment) - various positions
Job Posting Details The appointees will work closely with a research team with both academic and wall-street experience on the role of AI/ML inequity markets and quantitative investing. They will be required to perform specific research tasks including but not limited to applying AI/ML technology in stock return, risk, transaction cost modelling and portfolio optimization etc., and performing any other duties as assigned.Applicants should have a PhD degree (for Research Associate / Post-doctoral Fellow positions) or a master's degree (for Research Assistant positions) in computer science, data analytics, statistics, mathematics, finance or a related discipline. The ideal candidates should have strong quantitative skills and experience in data cleansing, data manipulation, and analysis; be familiar with machine learning algorithms and capable of modifying standard algorithms for specific tasks; have good understanding or experience in cloud platform (Google cloud); be proficient in Python programming; have a proactive and research mindset; and be able to work independently and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of financial market will be an added advantage.
