The Research Scientist (m/f/d) is responsible for moving the development of new products and methods forward in collaboration with the local team members as well as the global R&D team. The capabilities and knowledge we are looking for will be of fundamental importance for the ongoing success and the growth of the Dassel R&D department.
This position reports to the R&D Team Leader - Membranes and Diagnostic Applications and is part of the R&D Team located in Dassel, Germany and will be an on-site role.
What you’ll do

New product introduction (NPI) and optimization of existing product portfolio (continuous improvement)

Collection, management and internal presentation of measurement data and R&D projects

Close cooperation with manufacturing, product management, commercial sales and quality departments to bring your technical and scientific experience into existing teams and processes

Routine lab work for relevant tasks, case management systems etc.

Development and establishment of new methods and implementation of these to our manufacturing processes
Who you are
-
University degree in a natural science subject, preferably materials science, chemistry or similar experience

Preferably proven theoretical and practical knowledge regarding development and optimization of membrane based applications, especially lateral flow based applications, and their use at the customer’s site

Preferably proven knowledge on immunodiagnostic assays

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Excellent team and communication skills
