Responsibilities

KEP Electric, a subsidiary of IES Residential is currently seeking Residential Electricians. The Residential Electrician installs, alters, adds, and/or repairs electrical systems in New Construction Residential homes.

Location: Dayton, OH

Hours: Full-Time

Responsibilities for Residential Electrician:

  • Complete house rough-in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
  • Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures
  • Attend in-class instruction
  • Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions
  • Maintains knowledge of and complies with company safety rules and procedures
  • Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
  • Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and being able to give direction in a way that is understood


Qualifications

  • Experience in New Construction Residential
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Electrical License: Apprentice, Wireman, or Journeyman
  • Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
