Retail Project Manager (Engineer)

Job Location On-site: Dubai, UAE Job Description: 1. The Candidate will be managing the relationships with subcontractors and will oversee the design and production of the projects with some of the most luxurious brands. 2. The Candidate must be expert in Fit out Standard Operating Procedures for Retail Shops such as MEP works, material selections, subcontractors timeline and procedures. 3. The Candidate must have a strong decision making and initiative skills to coordinate with architects, contractors, other consultants for all Store Planning projects to maintain corporate policies & procedures 4. The Candidate must be expert in overseeing the construction process to ensure the project is executed up to brand standards, timeline and budget 5. The Candidate must be expert in analyzing construction documents, submittals, RFIs, application for payments and change orders. 6. The Candidate must track all project deadlines, budgets, deliverables including owner-supplied items; production and installation of millwork for all Store Planning projects. 7. The Candidate will make necessary site visits and attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and assemble reports to execute decisions. 8. The Candidate must be able to provide clear direction and motivate their team to complete tasks on time. Strong leadership skills can help you delegate tasks, encourage collaboration and motivate your team to work hard. 9. The Candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be able to work under pressure. 10. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing retail projects from start to finish, with a focus on maximizing profitability and company satisfaction. Job Requirements: 11.Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related 12.At least 5 years experience of Project Management in Luxury Retail Industry 13. Experience in retail industry procedures, costs, and terms locally and internationally 14. Proficiency in MS Offices, AutoCAD, Primavera 15. Ability to interact well with vendors, contractors and corporate Team members. 16. Ability to work well under pressure & handle multiple projects while maintaining deadlines. 17. Experience in multi-site projects preferred, familiarity with Accessibility, Retail Fit out Code and detailing 18. Previous experience in commercial negotiation with suppliers 19. Experience in the implementation of global projects relative to retail applications is a plus
