We are seeking a motivated Retail Appointment Setter to join our high-performing team and support our solar sales efforts at Home Depot. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping customers, skilled in communication, and excited to contribute to the growth of the renewable energy industry. As an Appointment Setter, you will work directly with customers in-store to schedule appointments with our expert closers, ensuring a smooth transition from interest to a personalized consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in-store at Home Depot, educating them about the benefits of solar energy and the services we offer.
- Qualify leads by understanding customer needs and determining their interest in scheduling a solar consultation.
- Set appointments for our closers to meet with qualified leads at their homes, ensuring all details are captured accurately.
- Build rapport with customers, answering their questions and addressing concerns while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain an organized schedule and follow up with customers to confirm appointments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that leads are being managed effectively and that the sales process runs smoothly.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly appointment-setting targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Stay informed about the latest solar technology trends and our product offerings to answer customer inquiries confidently.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for everyone you engage with.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, friendly, and eager to engage with people.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and create a positive first impression.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward achieving goals.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
- Passion for renewable energy and helping customers make informed decisions about their energy options.
Compensation:
- $1,000 upfront on closed deals
