RF Engineering Manager - EU Based
For our location in Berlin we are looking for RF Engineering Manager- EU based (m/f/d). Position Summary: The RF manager is a highly experienced individual who has the ability to simulate and design analog RF circuits for complex electronic modules and devices for RF and EMC applications in the frequency bandwidth from 4kHz to 6GHz. The candidate shall have superior analog experience and design skills with the latest technology. Leadership skills are required to build a strong RF team and move the product roadmap forward. The candidate must require minimal supervision. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Manage the RF development team and follow the development projects according to the development plan Weekly reporting to the director of engineering with the project status Prioritize the work for mechanical construction and PCB layout Give assistance to support and production teams on their issues Follow external projects Project specification, documentation and planning in conjunction with PM and Director of engineering (Four block project summary) Project management Simulate RF designs with Microwave Office Design and test of analog and RF circuits Participate in Critical Design Review process Member of national and international standard committees Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in RF or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the RF and Microwave field. Leadership skills and experience Experience in project management Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget Experience with Microwave Office desired. Superior experience in discrete electronics and additional experience in frequency dependent properties of magnetic components. Able to quickly learn and self teach new skills and technology. Maintains a constructive positive attitude in challenging situations. Operates effectively under pressure and delivers to agreed timescales. Strong written and oral communication skills in German and English Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and database applications
