Rig Mechanic

Would you like to work for a solid, well-established company? We are currently searching for rig mechanics to work on oilfield equipment and engines. Typical week will included overtime. Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off. Will need to be able travel to rig locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Position will focus on repairing drilling mud pumps and draw works – heavy mechanical repairs.
• Determines condition by conducting inspections and basic diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Corrects deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions and handling with respect

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Proficient diagnostic skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree (Tech School).
• 1 or more years of experience in Oilfield Maintenance.
• Must be able to pass a follicle test.
