Rigger
Job Location: Role OverviewOur network of regional workshops support our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.The success of our operations is founded on a team based approach to projects and you will have the opportunity to work together with, and support a range of qualified tradespeople to be successful on all projects.ResponsibilitiesAs a Rigger you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance and use of rigging gear such as cables, ropes, slings, pulleys and winches in order to lift, lower, move or position machinery, structural steel and other heavy loads.Primarily you will be working outdoors on mine and construction sites, but can also work on other sites as directed.You will also drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace and ensure that all work is in accordance with industry best practice.Skills and Experience Recognized qualification in Rigging (High Risk Work License with SB, SI or SA endorsement)Possess a valid Working at Heights certificate issued within the last 18 monthsPrevious exposure to an engineering or mining environmentRecognized training in a mechanical discipline, evidence of achievement in this fieldAbility to handle a wide range of basic mechanical tasks and can work independently as well as within a groupMaintain a high standard of physical fitness with the ability to lift moderately heavy itemsAbility to work in remote locationsCurrent WA drivers’ license. A HR License would be preferable, although not essential
