Position Overview:

SkillForce is urgently seeking a Road & Yard Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support operations in our industrial yard facility in Ottsville, PA and on projects as dispatched. This individual must have the experience to manage other mechanics and be well-versed in troubleshooting construction equipment mechanical issues.

Hourly Rate: $30-$45 an hour with opportunity for overtime and prevailing wages in the field.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years applicable experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Construction equipment experience
• Diesel truck engine experience
• Class B CDL required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to manage a small group of mechanics
• Ability to operate equipment
• Crane maintenance experience a plus
• Small engine experience a plus
• PA Inspection License a plus
• Class A CDL a plus
• NCCCO crane license a plus
• NJ/PA crane license a plus
