Our client is a renewable energy installation company specialising in delivering solar PV systems for the commercial sector.\nDue to company growth, they are now seeking an Assistant Roofing Supervisor with experience in Solar PV join the team.\nThis will be a role based on site, you must be willing to travel and stay away as the location of projects will vary.\n\nRole Overview:\nYou will be responsible for supporting the team leader in managing the Solar PV installation process and team coordination. This would suit a candidate who holds 2 years of experience within Solar PV installs, ideally with 6 months of experience within a supervisor position.\nExperience within the commercial rooftop sector and flat roof systems would be beneficial.\nPackage:\n\n * £33,000 - £37,500 per annum\n\n * 28 Days Holiday\n\n * Monday – Friday\n\n * Overtime and weekend work available\n\n * All expenses covered when staying away including accommodation and meal allowances.\n\n * Company Pension\n\nResponsibilities:\nConduct site assessments and pre-start surveys to identify potential issues and confirm site readiness for solar panel installation.\nOversee the installation process to ensure compliance with design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and building regulations.\nEnforce and uphold safety standards on-site to maintain a secure working environment.\nProvide training and support to installers and trainees, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.\nReport progress and any issues to the Team Leader promptly.\nAssist in workforce planning and scheduling to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently.\nImplement quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Green CSCS Card\n\n * Full UK driving license\n\n * SSSTS or SMSTS – (desired)
