Safety and Environmental Specialist – Plant

Must have at least (2-3) years of plant level, safety, health, and general environmental compliance background along with a Bachelor degree. This position will serve as the lead EHS resource for a non-union heavy manufacturing facility with a servant leader and collaborative approach. Lead the implementation of the company’s EHS Playbook and align the site’s EHS activities with the overall company enterprise-wide EHS strategies. Report directly into the Site Manager with a strong dotted line into a Regional EHS Manager. Culture fit is of primary importance in this role. Ability to empower, value and respect plant employees is paramount in this organization. Sense of urgency and understanding employee needs by seeking engagement, feedback and utilizing employee ideas/recommendations. Energetic, engaged along with the motivation to take initiative.
