Safety Case Engineer

One of the leading companies in the nuclear sector is looking to bring in a Safety Case  Engineer to join the growing team working on vast projects in the nuclear space. This is one of the best and well known projects and companies in the sector. \n  \nRole type: Permanent \nLocation: Leicester (Or remote) \nSalary: £50,000 o £80,000 depending on experience \nOur client offer an excellent benefits package, bonuses and travel experience for 2nd site work.

\n  \nOur client are looking for several Safety Case engineers to join their Nuclear projects. With flexible working and remote working, they are open to someone joining from all over the UK. They have requirements at all levels including Senior & principle positions.

\n  \nYou will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering works are Safe & Secure by creating specialist plans and reviews. You will examine the engineering activities and manage the delivery of the safety aspects required for them. \n  \nThe role requires Security Clearance, so you must be a UK with a British Passport.

\n  \nThe role: \n·Produce and Design Technical and General reports on safety. \n·Create strategies for hazard management. \n·Author Safety Assessments in radiological work & Hazard MAnagement.

\n·Participate in HAZID/HAZOP \n·Ensure you have an overview of the strategies being delivered for Safety Case. \n·Serve as a Company Technical Representative. \n·Manage the delivery for the work undertaken by the supply chain \n\nExperience / requirements: \n·Engineering Degree in Engineering \n·Chartered Engineer \n·Excellent communication skills & written instructions \n·Experience in working with multiple teams \n·EPC (Desirable) \n·Engineering Institute membership (Desirable)
