We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-Office Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting safety operations across our organization. This position will be responsible for reviewing and distributing safety inspection reports, assisting with client prequalification platforms, and serving as a subject matter expert on safety-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of safety policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate, and distribute safety inspection reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries from clients, offering expert guidance on safety issues and concerns.
  • Assist with the completion of client prequalification platforms and safety questionnaires, ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement site-specific safety programs and policies.
  • Assist in the development and revision of safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, reports, training, and certifications for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Provide safety-related support to internal teams, helping to resolve issues and identify areas for improvement in safety processes.
  • Stay current with industry safety trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Certification: Safety professional credentials, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other certifications through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), are highly .
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices and regulations.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Expertise in safety program development, including the creation of site-specific safety policies and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards and other relevant industry-specific guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve safety goals.

Additional Qualifications ():

  • Proficiency with safety management software and client prequalification platforms. (Avetta, ISNetworld, etc.)
  • Experience in safety inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
