Daily duty meal.Life insurance.What will I be doing?A Safety Officer is responsible for inspecting the office equipment and machinery, as well as the safety of facilities, avoiding potential hazards in the workplace. They also review the company's policies and procedures, ensuring that the operational processes adhere to the internal guidelines and local regulations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Audit the hotel to confirm Health and Safety/Food Hygiene complianceTrain Health and Safety /Food Safety issues to managers, supervisors and colleagues, confirming with the Health and Safety Manager when appropriateProvide service and support for the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems per NFPA.Provide first aid / CPR to injure associates.Assist the facilities department in monitoring contractors and enforcing Health and Safety standards as requiredArrange for the replacement of defective firefighting equipment and for repair of fire alarm, emergency lights and fire extinguishers.Conduct test to fire and sprinkler systems and ensure they are on track with fire detection/prevention measuresCarry out weekly fire tours of the hotel, noting deficiencies and reporting to facilitiesCarry out fire training and provide records of attendanceAssist in the hotel's environmental awareness and assist environmental champions where necessaryWhat are we looking for?A Safety Officer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
