Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to provide technical support, solutions, and expertise to our clients. You will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and application support for sales teams and customers.
- Understand and analyze customer requirements to recommend suitable products.
- Work with customers to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet their needs.
- Support the sales process by preparing technical proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate product selection and application.
- Engage in product demonstrations and technical training for clients.
- Provide after-sales support and technical troubleshooting as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical sales or application engineering role.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical solutions.
- Experience with actuators and/or control valves is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Skills:
- Experience with industrial or automation systems.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Experience in working directly with clients in a technical sales capacity.
