We are looking for a Sales Engineer in charge of developing sales of tertiary electrical equipment in departments 44 and 49 (France), for an international industrial group.
In this position, you will be responsible for sales results in your area, and will be autonomous in your sales planning, while respecting the strategic orientations of the business.
You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Salary: 39-54 k€ gross annual fixed + 20% variable on objectives
Your responsibilities
- Develop sales and increase margins on the existing portfolio.
- Identify new opportunities and develop the network of players in the commercial and service sector.
- Prepare and monitor a sales plan to achieve objectives.
- Establish and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers.
- Supervise and control the implementation of sales offers through technical support and follow up with customers.
- Liaise with the two-person team responsible for coordinating distributors to benefit from sales synergies.
- Monitor customer and market trends to adapt sales and marketing strategy.
- Monitor and manage customer receivables.
Your background
- Minimum of 2 years' higher education with 5 years' experience in sales of commercial electrical equipment, ideally with a manufacturer.
- Good knowledge of the tertiary and commercial building sector (installers, distributors and end customers) in the defined area.
- A hunter's profile, accustomed to doing a great deal of prospecting.
- Ability to conduct sales negotiations and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Proficiency in IT tools (customer follow-up and drawing up quotations).
- English and French spoken, read and written mandatory.
- No obstacles to travel (60%).
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
