Job Description
External Sales Engineer - North - £55K OTE
External Sales Engineer required to join a well-established distributor of valves, and pressure control products used in the oil & gas, process, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
My client is seeking a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager to work from home and cover the North-West patch.
The role is working from home, but you must already live in the North West / Manchester area.
You must have sold relevant fluid control products; valves, pneumatics, filtration, gauges either for a distributor or a manufacturer.

- Working hours Mon-Thurs 8.45am – 5.30pm, Fri 8.45am - 14.45pm
Responsibilities:
- Working from home
- Account Manager for existing Accounts (£1.4m revenue)
- New business development
- Liaising with suppliers for product support and pricing
- Quotations
- Solutions sales - advising customers on the best products to solve their problems
Candidate requirements:
- External Sales experience is as this is a customer-facing position, although an Internal Sales person looking to move externally could be suitable
- A good mix of “Hunter” and “Farming” sales experience.
