Sales Manager
Job Description
We are partnered with a leading Solar PV manufacturer and smart energy solutions provider, and looking to speak with talented sales professionals in regards to a Sales Manager position with the Utility Scale business unit.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management within a Tier 1 PV environment, and be have the network and skillset to grow your territory, and add immediate value to your team..
What will be your responsibilities?
- You will actively develop the sales strategy of the solar energy market, managing different sales channels of solar panels.
- You will develop a close relationship and communication with existing key accounts to understand their technical, financial, logistical and marketing support needs, and organize internal resources to meet these needs and identify new business opportunities.
- You will analyze and monitor sales data and prepare periodic reports based on customer information and development trend.
- You will prepare effective reports of all activities of managed accounts to the Sales Director on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
- You will identify, establish and manage multi-level relationships between customers and the company organization to ensure a long-term business relationship.
- Gather up-to-date market information, including competitor and customer benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements.
- You will represent the company at local and national trade shows and conferences.
What requirements do we expect to find?
- A minimum of 3 years in the solar energy segment preferably in the PV modules or solar trackers sector.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer orientation.
- Proactive and problem solving skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Good knowledge of the international business environment, operations and practices (from international payment terms to the use of Incoterm).
- Good knowledge of CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
- Availability to travel according to the needs of the company (driving license: B).
