THE COMPANY - WHO ARE YOU JOINING?
This financial services company looks to support smaller and medium-sized businesses, offering savings and lending capabilities to their customers. Looking to shake up the banking world, they have invested in a new technology platform that they wish to maximise within the business as they grow their in-house engineering capability. As the Salesforce Engineering Lead, you'll help elevate this!
WHAT WILL YOU GET TO DO?
The Salesforce Engineering Lead will be responsible for the following:
- Act as a Salesforce SME and share your CRM knowledge to ensure the business maximises their software platform effectively
- Working with enterprise level stakeholders to understand opportunities to implement Salesforce to the business and the best ways to do this
- Create solutions to business problems and thus work with technical teams to oversee the implementation of these solutions
- Bridge the gap between engineering and architecture teams within the technology space
- Help the longer term vision and roadmap of Salesforce as a product for the business
WHAT DO THEY EXPECT FROM YOU?
The ideal Salesforce Engineering Lead will have the following:
- Subject matter expertise of Salesforce as a platform, specifically Financial Cloud but ideally also Sales, Services, and Experience Clouds and OmniStudio
- A deep understanding of Salesforce, including its strengths, limitations and best practice
- Experience and understanding across both Salesforce Engineering and Architecture, in terms of Rest APIs, integration processes, Apex, SFDX, and Lightning Components
- Ability to be hands-on when needed, but primarily focusing on strategy and the holistic view of Salesforce for the business
- Experience from working in a large-scale team across multiple programmes
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with different internal teams and external parties
