The Client:\n\nOur client, a leading utilities company committed to innovation and service excellence, is expanding its Technical and Operations team. They are looking for a talented Operations Engineer (SAP LV/HV) to support their growing network across Oxfordshire into West London (SSE). No weekends or standby.\n\nYour Role as an Operations Engineer (SAP):\n\nUsing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will support Operatives and Project Managers in the construction, audit, and energisation of electricity networks.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Supervising & mentoring staff to enhance team performance\n\n * 11kV & LV switchgear pre-commissioning and testing\n\n * Energisation of IDNO/DNO LV networks for customer connections\n\n * LV/HV fault location & repair, including cable sheath repairs\n\n * Planning & executing DNO LV & HV self-connections\n\n * Liaising with DNO engineers for energisation of substations\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n\n * Experience in a similar operational role within the utilities sector\n\n * Strong knowledge of HV and LV distribution networks\n\n * Current or previous DNO/iDNO 11kV AP/SAP Operational Authorisation.
