Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionIn this role, the Scientist utilizes forward-thinking methods and tools to collect, interpret, and report environmental data, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. The individual is responsible for designing and executing complex field studies, interpreting environmental regulations, and applying technical knowledge to support the development of innovative environmental solutions. This position also involves a proactive approach to project management, stakeholder communication, and presenting findings to both internal and external partners.


Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental research projects, providing technical expertise in the assessment of environmental conditions and impacts.
  • Analyze environmental data using advanced statistical and modeling techniques to provide actionable insights for regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop environmental strategies, contribute to policy-making, and ensure alignment with environmental goals.
  • Supervise and mentor junior scientists, fostering a collaborative environment for skill development and technical growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and publications on environmental findings, presenting complex scientific data to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and contribute to the creation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Independently troubleshoot complex technical issues, applying critical thinking to solve problems and recommend improvements to environmental practices.



QualificationsExperience:

  • 1 to 6 years of experience in environmental science or related field.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field (Ph.D. )
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field (Ph.D. a plus).


Skills:

  • Proficient in using environmental modeling software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong familiarity of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to accomplish multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex scientific data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
