Screen Printing Plant Manager

JOB IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO. RELOCATION IS PROVIDED.

Leading apparel and decorating company in the Chicago area is searching to hire an experienced Plant Manager to oversee production and quality.
Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily production operations in graphic design, screen printing, DTG and embroidery manufacturing.
• Lead and direct a team of 30 employees.
• Optimize workflows, output and quality using KPI's and metrics.
• Assist in solving production issues.
• Interview and hire staff for 2nd shift operations.
• Implement and oversee employee operator training programs.
• Review and make recommendations on new production equipment.
• Interact with production managers ensuring on-time delivery of products meeting and/or exceeding client expectation.
• Focus on production, quality and quick turn around times.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years operations or plant management experience in the apparel screen printing industry.
• Working knowledge of the garment and decorating industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of multi- screen printing presses, DTG and embroidery machines.
• Proven track record using metrics to improve workflows, processes, and quality.
• Experience increasing production operations on 2nd shift.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• Very good communication skills are required.

Starting base salary range $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus plan based on objectives, healthcare, 401k match and relocation pkg.
