Security Systems Installation and Service Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Security Systems Installation and Service Engineer to join our Northwest Team.



We would look to support a successful candidate with training to help develop their current level of skills and knowledge.



This is an important role for our growing and dynamic company. We are looking for someone with a track record in installation and servicing who is flexible and energetic, and willing and able to work the hours necessary to do the job effectively. We are looking for a 1st class communicator able to express themselves clearly both verbally and in writing.

A staring salary of £38,000.00 - £40,000.00 per annum dependent on experience and performance

We also offer specialist ongoing training on New Systems, Products and Technology



The successful candidate will be working mainly, but not solely, at Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, and School premises. The work will mainly be Installing and Servicing IP CCTV, Remotely Monitored CCTV Systems, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm Systems.



To do this job effectively the candidate will need to be experienced and have a clear understanding of current technological developments in:



Networking

CCTV Systems

Access Control Systems

Intruder Alarm Systems

Fire Alarm Systems



This hands-on experience will be supplemented by proof of appropriate qualifications and continued professional development to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge and skill as technology and legislative requirements have developed.



Ideally the successful candidate will have both a Valid ECS Card and a Valid IPAF Card. Although we would support the right candidate to acquire these if necessary.



As this job involves travelling to and between sites a full clean driving license is required. We work on a basis therefore your place of work will vary.

The post you are applying for is ‘exempt’ from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore you are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not "protected" as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).



As we hold contracts with schools you will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
