Semi - skilled electrical fitter

Our client is excited to be recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Fitter to be based within their engineering team, their Low Voltage switchgear facility site, is based in Boldon Colliery. Our facility designs and manufacture HV/LV packaged sub stations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, final power distribution and control equipment that are type tested and verified to BSEN(phone number removed).,



Role



• Build modular steelwork systems.



• Installation of electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers & fuse-switches)



• Inspect & record your work activities.



• Attend and contribute to regular team briefings.



• Assist in the company’s safety efforts by maintaining a good level of housekeeping and always considering health & safety.



Experience



• Skilled in use of hand & power tools.



• Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
