Senior Android Developer (Contract - Onsite)

About the Role We are hiring a Senior Android Engineer to join the Level Shoes engineering team on a 6-12 month contract (with potential for a permanent role). You will play a key role in modernizing our Android app , ensuring smooth performance, stability, and scalability . Key Responsibilities Enhance and maintain the Level Shoes Android app (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose). Work on performance optimizations, caching, offline support , and user experience improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features and integrations. Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality releases . Must-Have Skills 5+ years of Android development experience (Java & Kotlin). Expertise in Kotlin Coroutines, MVVM/MVI, Jetpack Compose, and Firebase . Strong knowledge of threading, caching, and performance optimization . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing . Familiarity with Google’s Material Design and Android Studio. Nice-to-Have Experience in e-commerce app development . Prior experience migrating large legacy codebases . Familiarity with Gerrit and Media3 video library . Additional Details Location: Dubai HQ (onsite; relocation support available). Contract: 6-12 months, potential for permanent hire.
