Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Architect to join a leading Architectural practice based in the Edinburgh area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to work on a range of exciting residential and student accommodation projects as part of an award-winning team. Our client is open in terms of the successful Senior Architects background / experience but all applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' UK experience as well as a good knowledge of Revit.
Our client is seeking an experienced candidate to take a leading role within the practice. \n\nSenior Architect Position Overview\n\nWorking with Revit on a daily basis\nWork on exciting Residential and Student Accommodation\nWork projects from planning stage through to completion\nPrepare and produce technical bid and tender documents\nLiaise with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes\nCreating excellent buildings for the end users and clients\nWork independently as well as in a team throughout all RIBA Stages\nHelp more Junior members of the team\nWork projects from planning stage through to completion\nPrepare and produce technical bid and tender documents\nCreate engaging designs that exceed the project briefSenior Architect Position Requirements\n\nMinimum 5 years post Part-III RIBA, recently qualified ARB or equivalent with UK on-site construction experience essential\nAbility to manage a demanding workload of medium to large-scale projects\nKnowledge of UK building regulations\nA strong design portfolio\nExcellent knowledge of Revit\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nAnalytical approach to workload\nCommercially aware, responsible and reliable\nExperience of preparing and presenting design proposals to the client\nWilling to take responsibility and able to use own initiative\nCapable of liaising confidently with clients and consultants and developing those professional relationship Senior Architect Position Remuneration \n\nCompetitive salary (£40,000 - £50,000 DOE)\nHoliday\nPension\nSocial Events\nOther company benefits to be discussed at interview stage \n\nBennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.\n\nBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
