Senior AutoCAD Engineer (Water)\n \nEmployment type: Permanent, full-time\n\nLocation: Home based\n\nHours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week \n \nWork from Home: Predominately work from home but be willing to travel to the office in Barnsley approx. 1 day per month to meet up with team\n\nSalary: £40,000-£50,000 p.a. + 26 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays)\n \nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing engineering design consultancy.
They are hiring for a Senior AutoCAD Engineer to join the team.\n\nAs a Senior AutoCAD Engineer / Technician you will be responsible for designing overall water infrastructure schemes such as sewer improvement schemes or flood defence programmes, and associated structures, such as pumping stations, pipework and earthworks (the scale of the design may range from an initial outline to a full, detailed design).\n\nPrevious experience within Water CAD Design is required. Due to the growth of the company progression will be available should you want this.\n\nExample of Responsibilities:\n\nVisit sites to gain information and dimensions.\nReview technical submissions\nProduce accurate drawings of utilities.\nEnsure that relevant stakeholders and authorities are updated, and information is accurately maintained.\nProduce detailed and accurate drawings for the design team.\nAssist junior AutoCAD design engineers.\n \nEssential Skills/Background:\n\nAutoCAD experience is essential.\nPrevious experience within Utilities/Civils is essential.\nIdeally, you will have experience within Water\nGCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English.\nConfident with MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.\nExcellent communication skills.\nAbility to work to timescales.\nMust be eligible to work in the UK.\n \nYou will join a supportive team, in which you will be encouraged to develop and progress your skills.
