Senior Automation Engineer

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Job Summary:

This job overview outlines a comprehensive role for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, requiring expertise in managing diverse platforms and cloud services, with a strong focus on automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipeline management. The candidate is expected to work with both Windows and Linux platforms, leveraging cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, and utilizing automation tools like HashiCorp Packer and Vault.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the secrets through the HashiCorp Vault
• Managing the Vaulting infrastructure
• Hands-on experience in securing sensitive data using HashiCorp vault.
• Develop and manage Golden (hardened) images using HashiCorp Packer.
• Use PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting to automate infrastructure tasks.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Docker containers.
• Implement strategies for source control and automation using Git and GitLab.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Expertise in automation with Packer and scripting.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and source control strategies.
