Senior Automation Engineer F/M/X

Job description We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer F/M/X to lead internal automation projects for buildings, production, and infrastructure facilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in various automation systems, project management experience, and the ability to work hands-on with systems like DeltaV, Simatic, and SCADA. Fluency in German is required, as this is an on-site role in Muttenz, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities:• Lead and manage automation projects related to building infrastructure, production, and facilities.• Develop and implement control and visualization systems to enhance operational efficiency.• Coordinate external resources to maintain and optimize electrical and automation systems.• Create and optimize DeltaV recipes, including programming and commissioning activities.• Troubleshoot automation systems and provide on-site support to resolve issues.• Maintain and improve the alarm management system to ensure optimal performance.• Mentor and train junior automation engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development. Your Profile:• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in automation, with a strong focus on DeltaV, SCADA, and IEC61131 control systems.• You possess project management expertise and can effectively coordinate both internal teams and external resources.• You have hands-on experience with DeltaV, Simatic S5/S7, and SIS programming.• You are knowledgeable in EMSRT hardware, and SAP or Comos skills are an advantage.• You have excellent problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.• You are fluent in German, with proficiency in English being an added benefit.
