JOB TYPE: Full time with eligibility for company benefits upon completion of probationary period.

LOCATION: There are two locations for this role Columbus, Ohio and San Juan, Puerto Rico!

COMPENSATION: San Juan, Puerto Rico - $110k - $160k/yr with per diem for someone relocating from the continental United States. (Relocation assistance may be offered)

Candidates local to San Juan, Puerto Rico salary would be $45k - $70k/yr.

Final salary and compensation package will depend on certifications and experience and could be higher for the right candidate. Its an exempt position.

POSITION SUMMARY: This role will focus on the implementation, advancement, and maintenance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) tools throughout the design and construction phases. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in Autodesk software (including Revit, Plant3D, Inventor, and Navisworks), laser scanning, 3D modeling, and data management, as well as experience with 4D-5D software tools such as Synchro and Hexagon.

What you will be responsible for: (Disclaimer: The lists below are not all inclusive)

• Manage Autodesk ACC workflows.
• Support the development of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Work closely with design and construction teams to manage and maintain as-built BIM models for project facilities.
• Oversee Quality Control, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Leading the transition of BIM models to operations for lifecycle management

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have the following: (Minimum)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in BIM/VDC implementation and support.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience as a BIM or VDC Engineer for 8+ years

• Leadership in major projects (infrastructure, oil & gas, airports, healthcare, or data center)
• Strong project management (PMP or equivalent) plus technical skills
• Working for a major general contractor, EPC, or architecture firm

• Ability to communicate effectively, mentor team members, and manage complex project scopes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to develop positive relationships with vendors and clients.
• Ability to use MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, MS Server, and other Windows programs is required.
