Senior Business Development Manager - Feedstock Origination

Roles & Responsibilities The Role Reporting directly to the Group Head, Renewable Supply Feedstock, you will be responsible for expanding the company's renewable biofuel feedstock origination in Thailand. The position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in renewable feedstock and project management. This person will undergo a 6-month training at our Singapore HQ before transferring to our office in Thailand. Role Summary Oversee and manage all business operations within the country, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with corporate strategies. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives within the country. Lead, mentor, and develop the local team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective teamwork. Manage the country’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government officials. Focus on growing the business within the assigned territory by identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Ensure the smooth execution of all sales and business development activities. Work closely with the HQ to align local strategies with Company’s objectives, ensure smooth communication, and implement company-wide initiatives effectively. The Requirements A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. More than 5 years of experience with HVO feedstocks, including Used Cooking Oil, Animal Fats, Vegetable Oils, and Advanced Waste Oils. Proficient in Thai. Demonstrated expertise in structuring off-take contracts and managing associated risks. Proficiency in trading risk management and supply chain optimization. Extensive knowledge of the Thailand market and adept at developing new business opportunities. Resilient and self-motivated, with strong leadership capabilities. Open to being based in Thailand.
