We offer the opportunity to join Nilfisk as our Senior Category Manager where you will be responsible for managing the Plastic Injection Moulding, Rotational Moulding, Automotive components, Hydraulic Components and the categories under your team's responsibility.Your main tasks will be:Coordinate your team composed by Category Managers and Strategic Buyers to reach company and global operation targets such as (but not limited to): Create, maintain and improve inbound supply chains for Production Companies and Distribution centersContinuously monitor and develop Quality, Delivery and Cost performance of the supply base combined with best in industry financials (Working Capital, Payment terms, Inventory values).Cover the spend with written agreements. Develop medium-long term Category Strategies in alignment with Nilfisk Strategies and Marketing/Product developmentProactively search for new technology solutions and share & discuss them with R&D and Product Management.Build and maintain a strong Pipeline which includes Negotiation, Resourcing, Optimisation and VAVE elements. Ensure that team members and Sourcing Project Managers are working in a close daily cooperation to execute the Pipeline in which the CM is responsible for the Negotiation/Optimisation (mainly commercial) execution meanhwile the PM of the Resourcing/VAVE (more technology involved) project execution.As a Senior Category Manager you will be responsible for the performance of all your team member. Therefore you will continuously follow the Pipeline work, Project executions, Saving capturing (PPD, PM), RPI avoidance & mitigation, Category Strategy development, material shortage avoidance. Periodically monitor team member's skills and competences and comparing to the job requisitions, prepare competence gap analyses and development plans.Promote team spirit and collaboration within your team, within Category Management, with Project Management and Global Procurement. Engage the collaboration with Production, Supply chain and GPS.Proactively support Vice President, Direct Category Management to improve the Category Management team efficiency, performance and achievements. You will be part of the international Global Procurement team reporting to the Vice President, Direct Category Management. You will be based in Szigetszentmiklós or Nagykanizsa.Background:You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or similar. You have several years of relevant experience in Category Management and as a people manager in a global manufacturing industry. You speak and write fluent Hungarian and English at a high level and you have great analytical skills and Excel knowledge at a high level.Senior Category Manager in a Scandinavian Company CultureFurthermore, you have excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management on all levels, coupled with solid change management capability and strong negotiation skills.
