Senior Civil Design Engineer

Job Description

A prestigious structural and civil engineering company is in search of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Newcastle office.

With an extensive portfolio of over 700 projects annually and a global reach, the company is seeking a candidate who can offer mentorship to the current Civil Engineering team while advancing their own career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the development and oversight of technical documentation.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Innovating engineering solutions and presenting alternative options.
• Assisting in project resource allocation, monitoring, and budget reporting.
• Providing technical insights for project pricing, proposals, and deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Progression towards or attainment of IEng/CEng accreditation.
• Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with industry-standard road and/or drainage design software and up-to-date knowledge of design standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D essential.
• Proficiency in Microdrainage / Infodrainage / drainage design would be advantageous
