As a Senior Design Engineer, you will proactively manage the design team to deliver client projects within set timescales and budget while meeting all relevant legislation and standards.


With strong experience in civil engineering, you will lead design development meetings, providing mentoring and guidance to the team.


You will have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related subject and will be a member of a relevant institution (ICE, IStructE, PWI, IOSH, IEMA, etc.). You will hold either chartered or incorporated engineer status.


You will be a key player in steering the business moving forward, sitting with the management team.


Rail industry experience is essential for this role.


A full driving licence is essential as you will be required to attend site meetings throughout the UK (occasional overnight stays may be required). You will also need to undertake training to hold a PTS card, which will be supported by the client.
